# Madison Jae

> Madison Jae is an Australian novelist who writes literary psychological thrillers. Her novels are Angel's Wing (published July 1, 2026) and Mind How You Go (publishing October 23, 2026). She lives in Sydney, Australia, and publishes under her own imprint, Transcendant Publishing.

She writes in close, present-tense first person, sometimes from inside the danger and sometimes from the woman standing nearest to it. Her suspense does not depend on concealing the central threat from the reader. The reader usually knows what the woman in the story has not worked out yet, and watches her find out.

Paperback ISBN 978-1-7637890-2-9. About 98,000 words, 39 chapters and an epilogue. Set in Portland, Oregon, from September to January. Three first-person narrators: Isla Chevalier, the woman being poisoned; Karen Peterson, the friend poisoning her; Jeanette Marshall, the childhood friend who introduced them. About 84,000 words. Set in a converted stone house on the Devon coast, England. First person, present tense; the novel opens in Clover's voice. Clover is pregnant and newly married. Her husband, Beckett, wired the house before she moved in: locks, lights, speakers, cameras. Each time she reports it, the system shows nothing, and her husband asks if she has been sleeping. Listed on Amazon and Goodreads under the fuller title "Mind How You Go: A Chilling Psychological Thriller of Coercive Control". The author names Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin and Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan as comparable titles.
